Who we are

Personal guidance, the depth of a group.

Arcade Partners brings together four Geneva firms in pensions, tax, wealth management and investment. Your advisor sees your situation as a whole; when a question calls for a specialist, they bring one in, in Switzerland as in France. The same care for everyone, from a first savings account to the most structured estate.

The order of decisions

Protect first, invest later.

01 · Disability, deathProtect

What would happen if you could no longer work, or were no longer there? We measure what your family would be missing, AHV and pension included, and we cover it.

02 · Vested benefits, scattered accountsConsolidate

Old vested benefits accounts, policies opened over the years, assets in France: we find everything, so you know exactly what you have.

03 · Tax, pensions, feesOptimise

Deductions, pension buy-ins, ordinary assessment when it works in your favour, fees and wrappers reviewed: what is lost neither to tax nor to fees stays yours.

04 · For your horizonInvest

Only then do we invest what is left, according to your horizon and the risk you accept. With cautious assumptions, not the most flattering ones.

05 · Spouse, childrenPass on

Spouse, children, assets in Switzerland and France: we decide with you how to protect each of them, and review the plan when your life changes.

Case studies

Figures first, promises later.

Four common situations, calculated with current rates and cautious assumptions. Yours will differ: that is what the first meeting is for.

Retirement · Example
Assumptions

1.25% pension fund interest, 5% conversion rate, account at 0.25%, investment at 3% net of fees, maximum couple state pension without the 13th payment, withdrawal tax deducted (2025 City of Geneva rates). Amounts before income tax.

Couple, 52 and 50, Geneva

CHF 11,600a month from age 65

Goal: CHF 11,500 a month. As things stand, their pension fund, savings and state pension promise CHF 9,600.

Pension fund buy-ins over ten years, savings invested, then half annuity, half lump sum: CHF 2,000 more every month.

Cross-border · Example
Assumptions

5% conversion rate, annuities taxed in France at 30% after a 10% allowance, lump sum at the 7.5% flat withholding after allowance (conditions apply), investment at 3% net of fees, gains taxed at 30%. State and French pensions excluded.

Cross-border couple, 61 and 59

+ CHF 3,900a year, net of tax, until 85

They live in Haute-Savoie and work in Geneva: CHF 640,000 in two pension funds. All as an annuity means French tax at the marginal rate, every year.

Half kept as an annuity, for life; the other half withdrawn, taxed once in France, invested and paid out over 25 years.

Maturities · Example
Assumptions

2025 City of Geneva rates, separate taxation of pension capital, order of magnitude.

Married couple, 59 and 58

CHF 15,500less tax

Four pension accounts, CHF 850,000 in all, which their contracts would have paid out in the same year.

Withdrawals spread over four years, from 60 to 65: the same capital escapes the progressive rate.

Vested benefits · Example
Assumptions

Account at 0.25%, investment at 3% net of fees a year, over 27 years.

Engineer, 38, three employers

+ CHF 56,000more at 65

Two vested benefits accounts, opened at each job change, had been sitting for years. She had forgotten them.

Traced through the 2nd Pillar Central Office: CHF 48,200 consolidated and invested to her profile.

Do you have a forgotten pension account?

Four questions. After a change of job, part of the 2nd pillar often stays in an account nobody follows any more.

Have you worked in Switzerland for more than one employer?
Have you left a job without knowing where your 2nd pillar went?
Have you had a break: unemployment, studies, leave, self-employment, a move away from Switzerland?
Are your vested benefits already consolidated in one place?
